New Season, New Opportunities!
West Vendee is a prominent retail store located on the main thoroughfare of Algona, IA. They champion small businesses by providing valuable shelf space within their retail establishment.
I chose to rent space here to explore the potential of my books in another retail environment. My guiding principle is simple: as long as I'm not incurring losses, the endeavor is worthwhile—particularly for enhancing the visibility of the Tall Girl Publishing brand.
West Vendee has excelled in showcasing my books, and they consistently promote them on their store's Facebook page every week, which has been a fantastic boost.
I am committed to this partnership through the end of the year, and the experience has been positive thus far! If you're in the area, I encourage you to stop by and experience the impressive variety of small business offerings available!
Attention, cat enthusiasts! Get ready for a delightful story about love and belonging!
Meet Moonbeam, a sweet cat on a quest for a family to call her own. Her adventure takes a magical turn when she encounters a group of kids on Halloween night. One little girl, dressed as a black cat, offers Moonbeam a chance at a forever home filled with love and warmth.
Perfect for children ages 6-8, this charming Halloween-themed book is clean, ethical, and suitable for any public or private library, classroom, daycare, or home. Kids are sure to cherish this heartwarming story for years to come!
It doesn’t take much for a situation to spiral out of control—especially when it grows into a tangled web of rumors! Discover how a single incident turns into a chaotic mix of jealousy, gossip, and misinformation.
One of Carl’s kernels has popped! Sweet Corn feels envious of Carl and exaggerates a small event into a full-blown scandal.
This engaging, rhyming early reader story highlights the risks of twisting words and sharing false information. It also illustrates the damage caused by reacting impulsively to our emotions rather than thoughtfully responding to them. Perfect for ages 6-8!

In Magical Adventures, every page bursts with wonder, danger, laughter, and unforgettable journeys through enchanted lands. This thrilling collection of stories follows brave young heroes and heroines as they discover ancient secrets, form unlikely friendships, and battle dark forces determined to dim the light of magic forever.
From secret forests filled with talking animals to castles that shift with the moonlight, from dragon-filled skies to mysterious islands that only appear at sunset—each story is a doorway into a new world. Along the way, readers will meet shape-shifting guardians, mischievous fairies, ancient wizards, and ordinary children who learn that they are anything but ordinary.
But these aren’t just fun-filled fantasy tales. Each adventure is packed with valuable life lessons—about courage, kindness, teamwork, and believing in yourself, even when the odds seem impossible. Whether it’s solving riddles to escape a spellbound cave or rescuing a lost friend in a cursed village, the characters must rely on heart, hope, and the power of choice.
Perfect for readers aged 7–12 and fans of Narnia, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon, Magical Adventures is a captivating journey that sparks the imagination and inspires the soul. Each story is crafted to entertain, uplift, and leave readers dreaming long after the final page.
Immerse yourself in one of the Bible's most renowned stories with this beautifully illustrated book. Each page features vivid artwork that brings Joe Guadagno’s dynamic song, Jonah, to life. The lyrics, which form the heart of this captivating picture book, are brought to life through striking images of Jonah and the whale, capturing the essence of the wayward journey and the redemptive return.
Explore themes of misdirection, repentance, and divine patience in a way that resonates with families and readers seeking hope and reconciliation. Ideal for family reading, Sunday school classes, and anyone interested in biblical narratives, this book integrates the actual verses of Jonah and includes a QR code that allows readers to listen to the song for a fully immersive experience.
Additional features include a page with discussion questions and space for composing a personal prayer, making this a thoughtful and engaging read for all ages. Future installments will continue to draw from Joe’s inspirational Christian songs, offering more enriching picture books for the entire family.
