I'm a Finalist!
In the awards world, a finalist is like landing in the top 2-5% of the competition. They announce a winner and about 5-6 finalists. So, hey, I'll take it! The most meaningful part of earning this finalist award is that strangers in the book world think my writing is worthy of this level of recognition.
